the history

In the 1980's, the Australian Labradoodle breed began in Victoria, Australia. The objective was to create a dog that was 99% asthma and allergy friendly, with the temperament of a service dog, for family companionship. Today's Labradoodle is the result of many successful generations of careful breeding.

The Australian Labradoodle includes the Poodle, the Labrador retriever, the Irish Water Dog as well as the American and English Cocker Spaniel. The temperament of the Australian Labradoodle is affectionate, clever, happy, loyal, friendly, non aggressive, confident, and intuitive.

Coat type: The objective is to maintain a non-shedding fleece or wool, helpful for people who suffer from allergies.
